The Merdeka Research Program at Universitas Sumatera Utara allows students to develop their scientific thinking skills and conduct research for undergraduate degree requirements, such as a thesis, which supports the growth of higher education in Indonesia. desc: The Merdeka Research Program, as an important initiative in the context of Merdeka Belajar, provides opportunities for students who can think scientifically to dig deeper into their understanding of research methods. In this program, students must compile a paper that will later be accounted for in front of a board of examiners as one of the requirements for obtaining a bachelor's degree. Thesis, as an integral part of this program, has a very important role, especially at Universitas Sumatera Utara. The thesis is the product of research activities conducted by students under the guidance of a supervisor. This research can be carried out in universities inside and outside USU or even in research institutions/government / private institutions in the country and abroad. The thesis is not only a requirement for graduation but also a student's contribution to the development of knowledge and research in various fields, which supports the development of higher education in Indonesia.
