Director Profile

Dr. Muhammad Anggia Muchtar, Director of the Directorate of Educational Development of Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU) for 2022-2027, was born on January 10, 1980 in Medan. Earning his S.T. degree at Universitas Sumatera Utara in 2003 and MM.IT. from Universiti Putra Malaysia in 2006, Muhammad Anggia Muchtar continues to play an active role in teaching at the Faculty of Computer Science-TI USU since 2008, also earning a doctoral degree from Universitas Sumatera Utara in 2021. He was appointed Director of the Directorate of Educational Development by Prof. Dr. Muryanto Amin, S.Sos., M.Si. on Friday, May 13, 2022, at the Student Center. Before heading the Directorate, Muhammad Anggia Muchtar served as Head of the Information Technology Department of Fasilkom-TI USU for the 2010-2016 period and held the position of Head of PSI USU for the 2016-2022 period.
