USU Supports Digital Education Transformation through an Audience Meeting with MAXY Academy

Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU) held an audience meeting with MAXY Academy to discuss potential collaboration in the development of digital and AI-based education aimed at enhancing students’ competencies and competitiveness in the digital era.

Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU) received a delegation from MAXY Academy, an artificial intelligence (AI)–based EdTech company under PT Linkdaku Solusi Indonesia, on Friday, January 9, 2026, at Universitas Sumatera Utara.

 

The meeting aimed to explore opportunities for collaboration in the development of digital and AI-driven education, including the implementation of training programs, professional certifications, and efforts to improve students’ competencies so they can better adapt to the demands of the workforce in the era of digital transformation.

 

The meeting was attended by MAXY Academy’s leadership, namely Mr. Isaac Munandar (CEO & Co-Founder) and Mr. Andy F. Bintoro (CTO & Co-Founder). Universitas Sumatera Utara was represented by Ir. Ikhsan Siregar, S.T., M.Eng., Ph.D., Director of Educational Development; Dr. Joiverdia Arifiyanto, S.H., M.H., Secretary of the Directorate of Educational Development; Mahatir Muhammad, S. Farm., M. Si., Apt., Manager of Educational Assessment and Development; along with members of the Universitas Sumatera Utara academic community.

 

Through this meeting, USU hopes to strengthen synergy with strategic partners in supporting the transformation of higher education and enhancing the quality and competitiveness of its graduates at both national and global levels.
