USU Selected as Piloting Project for Renjani Program Integration in 2025 by North Sumatra Regional Tax Office I

Integrating Independent MBKM Programs with Tax Awareness Through Tax Volunteers for the Nation (Renjani)

On December 6, 2024, the Directorate of Education Development at USU, USU’s Tax Centre, and the D3 Taxation Program met with the North Sumatra Regional Tax Office I at the Academic Senate Meeting Room, USU. The meeting discussed plans to designate the Renjani Tax Volunteers Program at USU in 2025 as a pilot project integrated with the Merdeka Belajar-Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) program.

 

Lusi Yuliani, Head of the Counseling, Service, and Public Relations Division of the North Sumatra Regional Tax Office I stated that USU was deemed the most prepared to run this program. Since 2019, USU students in the Tax Volunteer program have consistently performed excellently.

 

Mahatir Muhammad, Manager of Educational Assessment and Development, welcomed the plan and affirmed USU’s readiness to facilitate the program’s implementation. This collaboration is expected to enhance students’ creativity and competence in taxation, preparing them for the workforce.

 

Faisal Eriza, Head of the D3 Taxation Program at USU, and Indra Efendi Rangkuti, Staff of the USU Tax Centre, also attended the meeting. They are ready to coordinate the technical aspects of the program, including the number of participating students, credit recognition, and training activities.

 

The meeting concluded with a group photo session, symbolizing the strong partnership between USU and the North Sumatra Regional Tax Office I.
