USU PUBLIC RELATIONS – Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU) held the Launching and Student Send-Off for the Interdisciplinary Industry Collaborative Challenge (IINCO) Program under the Kampus Berdampak initiative for the Odd Semester of Academic Year 2026/2027 on Monday (October 5, 2026). The event took place at the IMT-GT Room, 2nd Floor, USU Rectorate Bureau.

The event was part of the implementation of the IINCO Program, which serves as a platform for student collaboration and learning in addressing various challenges in the industrial sector. Through the program, students are expected to develop their academic abilities and practical skills by gaining hands-on experience in collaboratively solving real-world problems.

The Launching and Student Send-Off for the IINCO Program was attended by the Vice Rector for Academic Affairs, Student Affairs, and Alumni Affairs; representatives of the Directorate of Educational Development; Vice Deans and Managers for Academic Affairs, Student Affairs, and Alumni Affairs at the faculties; Field Supervisors for the Internship Program; and IINCO student participants. The event marked the starting point for participants to undertake the series of activities and challenges designed as part of the IINCO Program for the Odd Semester of Academic Year 2026/2027.

With the launch and student send-off, IINCO participants officially began the program for the Odd Semester of Academic Year 2026/2027. The program is expected to provide meaningful learning experiences while generating relevant contributions and solutions for partner institutions and the surrounding community.
