USU PUBLIC RELATIONS – Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU) held the send-off for the 2026/2027 Kampus Berdampak Internship Program as part of its implementation of learning opportunities outside students’ respective study programs. The event was held online via Zoom Meeting on Friday (October 2, 2026).

The send-off was attended by academic leaders and administrators within USU, including the Vice Rector for Academic Affairs, Student Affairs, and Alumni Affairs; representatives of the Directorate of Educational Development; Vice Deans and Managers for Academic Affairs, Student Affairs, and Alumni Affairs at the faculties; the USU Internship Program Coordinator; Internship Program Field Supervisors; and student participants.

The Kampus Berdampak Internship Program send-off served as an opportunity for students to prepare themselves before undertaking their internships. Through the program, students have the opportunity to develop their competencies and gain practical experience through direct involvement in workplace environments and internship partner institutions.

Through the implementation of the Kampus Berdampak Internship Program, USU continues to promote meaningful learning experiences that provide students with opportunities to develop their potential and competencies beyond the campus environment. The program is expected to equip students with valuable experience in preparing for the workforce while enabling them to make positive contributions to their internship partners throughout the program.
