A total of 4,113 graduates from various study programs were officially conferred their degrees in a solemn and well-ordered ceremony held at the USU Auditorium. The event was conducted in a respectful, meaningful, and organized atmosphere.
The graduates and alumni expressed appreciation for the improved efficiency and comfort of the current format, which divides the ceremony into two sessions to ensure orderliness and avoid overcrowding. Even as rain fell during the event, the proceedings continued smoothly without diminishing the solemnity of the occasion.
Further appreciation was extended to USU Rector Prof. Dr. Muryanto Amin, whose leadership has been recognized for driving positive transformation within the university. Alumni highlighted significant progress under his administration, including enhanced academic quality, strengthened infrastructure, the achievement of an “Excellent” institutional accreditation status, and the increasing number of internationally accredited study programs.
For the graduates, this moment marked not only an unforgettable milestone but also a reflection of their academic journey. The atmosphere of togetherness, joy, and pride made the Period IV Graduation Ceremony not merely a formal academic event, but also a symbol of the ongoing advancement of Universitas Sumatera Utara as a university of national pride.
