The Directorate of Educational Development at Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU) was honored to be invited as a key speaker at the national education workshop organized by the Directorate General of Early Childhood, Primary, and Secondary Education (PAUD Dikdasmen), Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology (MoECRT), in collaboration with Commission X of the House of Representatives of the Republic of Indonesia (DPR RI).
Themed "Education Transformation through Deep Learning," the workshop is part of a national initiative to improve the quality of learning in preparation for Indonesia's Golden Generation 2045. The event occurred on Monday, April 14, 2025, at the Santika Premiere Dyandra Hotel & Convention, Medan, North Sumatra.
On this occasion, the Director of Educational Development USU, Ir. Ikhsan Siregar, ST., M.Eng., Ph.D., was the keynote speaker. The event is also part of the PAUD Directorate's commitment to establishing Integrity Zones toward Clean and Serving Bureaucracy Areas (ZI-WBBM), supporting the Ministry's mission to enhance clean and accountable educational governance.
USU's presence in this forum highlights the university's active role in supporting national education policies and strengthening the collaboration between academia and government in fostering sustainable educational transformation.
