The Directorate of Educational Development at Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU) conducted a series of socialization sessions on the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and the Recognition of the Cross-Study Program Learning Program (PLPS) across ten faculties at USU. The activities were carried out in stages from July 27 to August 5, 2026, with Heads and Secretaries of Study Programs participating in the sessions.

The socialization aimed to enhance study programs' understanding of the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in higher education, as well as the recognition mechanism for the Cross-Study Program Learning Program (PLPS) as part of curriculum development that supports more flexible and relevant learning.

Through this initiative, Universitas Sumatera Utara expects all study programs to develop a shared understanding of SDG implementation and the recognition of PLPS. This common understanding is intended to support the development of high-quality learning practices that are aligned with the university's academic policies.
