USU Directorate of Education Development Introduces Learning Services at the Faculty of Engineering and Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences During the 2025 PKKMB (Introduction of Campus Life for New Students)

The Directorate of Education Development of Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU) participated in the 2025 Student Orientation Program (PKKMB) at the Faculty of Engineering and the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA) to introduce various educational services and self-development support available for new students.

The Directorate of Educational Development of Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU) took part in the 2025/2026 Academic Year PKKMB activities by attending a series of events held across several faculties.

 

On August 13, 2025, the Director of Education Development, Ir. Ikhsan Siregar, S.T., M.Eng., served as a speaker at the Faculty of Engineering. During the session, he introduced a range of services provided by USU to support students’ learning processes and personal growth throughout their academic journey.

 

The following day, on August 14, 2025, the Directorate continued its agenda at the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA). On this occasion, Ir. Ikhsan Siregar, S.T., M.Eng., was accompanied by Prof. Dr. Edy Ikhsan, S.H., M.A., Vice Rector I of USU, along with representatives from the Directorate of Student Achievement and Alumni Relations. Their attendance aimed to provide new students with a comprehensive understanding of academic services, achievement development opportunities, and various forms of university support available to ensure their academic success.

 

The participation of the Directorate of Education Development in the PKKMB activities at the Faculty of Engineering and the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA) reflects USU’s commitment to ensuring that new students receive accurate information regarding campus facilities, services, and personal development opportunities within the university environment
