The Directorate of Educational Development of Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU) extended its congratulations to the 1,586 graduates officially conferred by USU Rector, Prof. Dr. Muryanto Amin, during the Graduation Ceremony for Academic Year 2025/2026 Period III held at the USU Auditorium on May 8–9, 2026.

During this period, graduates came from various levels of education, ranging from diploma to doctoral programs. With the addition of these graduates, the total number of USU alumni has now surpassed 277,000.

In his remarks, the Rector encouraged all graduates to continue learning, uphold integrity, and apply the knowledge they gained during their studies to make meaningful contributions to society.

The Rector also expressed appreciation to parents and families for their support throughout the educational journey. According to him, the graduates’ success was the result of hard work, perseverance, and the prayers of their families.

This commencement ceremony marked an important milestone for the graduates as they move forward into professional careers or pursue higher education with the spirit of continuing to contribute and make a positive impact on the nation.
