Vice-Rector I of Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU), Prof. Dr. Edy Ikhsan, S.H., M.A., conducted Monitoring and Evaluation (Monev) activities for the Thematic Community Service (KKN-T) Program of the Even Semester 2024/2025 in Karo Regency on July 1–2, 2025.
Prof. Edy Ikhsan was accompanied by the Secretary of the Directorate of Educational Development, Dr. Joiverdia Arifiyanto, S.H., M.H., the Manager of Educational Research and Development, Mahatir Muhammad, S.Farm., M.Si., Apt., and the KKN-T Coordinator. Monitoring was conducted in various student placement villages, including Sempajaya, Gongsol, Sukanalu, Beganding, Ketaren, Rumah Kabanjahe, Rumah Suka Ndebi, Dokan, and Kutambelin.
The Monitoring and Evaluation activities aimed to ensure the effective implementation of KKN-T, support students in carrying out their work programs, and gather community feedback on student contributions.
Through this Monev initiative, the USU KKN-T program is expected to deliver tangible positive impacts for local communities while providing students with a valuable hands-on learning experience that sharpens critical thinking, teamwork, and adaptability in real-world settings.
