Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU) provided assistance to Universitas Sembilanbelas November (USN) Kolaka through a Focus Group Discussion (FGD) held in Surabaya to strengthen financial governance and enhance Tridharma university services. The activity was conducted as part of the 2025 State University Revitalization Program (PRPTN) from September 29 to October 1, 2025.

The event was officially opened by Rasmaja, S.Pd., M.Si., Head of the Bureau of Planning, Finance, and General Affairs at USN Kolaka, who emphasized the importance of this initiative as an effort to strengthen financial governance and improve the quality of both academic and non-academic services in higher education institutions. He also expressed hope that the formulation of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) would serve as a strong foundation for achieving accountability, transparency, and efficiency in institutional management.

The FGD was attended by academic representatives from both USN Kolaka and USU and featured speakers from the USU Bureau of Finance, including Rafika Suryani, S.Kom., M.H., Wiwin Wisanti Siregar, S.K.M., Poppi Erina Siregar, S.E., Muhammad Sahruddin Lubis, S.E., M.Si., Ak., CA., CPA, and Fitri Aprilia, S.Sos., M.Si. They presented technical materials on the preparation of SOPs related to financial management—covering revenue, expenditure, reporting, procurement of goods and services, and asset management—as well as SOPs for Tridharma university service management.

During the guidance and reinforcement session, Ir. He also encouraged that the FGD outcomes be followed up consistently to produce tangible impacts on the enhancement of educational quality and institutional service delivery.

The FGD officially concluded with closing remarks from Ir. Ikhsan Siregar, marking the end of USU’s series of mentoring activities for USN Kolaka. The results of this program are expected to make a significant contribution to strengthening institutional capacity and promoting effective governance within higher education institutions.
