The Rector of the Universitas Sumatera Utara, Prof. Dr. Muryanto Amin, S.Sos., M.Si., conducted a visitation of the implementation of the Independent Student Admission Test (SMM) Year 2024. The visitation was held at the Information System Center (PSI) of the Universitas Sumatera Utara on Wednesday (17/07/2024).
A total of 5,396 participants took the USU Independent Student Selection Exam. This year, USU provides capacity for Independent Student Selection with details, a Bachelor Program for as many as 2,692 people, an Applied Bachelor Program for as many as 109 people, and a Diploma Program for as many as 90 people.
The implementation of the USU Independent Examination lasts for two days, July 17-18, 2024, and is spread across 16 test location points.
The Rector of the Universitas Sumatera Utara, Prof. Dr Muryanto Amin, S.Sos., M.Si., said that the number of participants this year had decreased from the previous year, which reached 6,000 participants. “Last year, there were approximately 6,000 participants. The decline was due to a policy not allowing participants who had passed the national examination to register at the independent examination,” said the USU Rector.
The USU Independent Pathway exam materials include Scholastic Examination, Mathematical Reasoning, Indonesian Literacy, and English Literacy.
