Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU) held a Morning Assembly and Halal Bihalal to celebrate the festive atmosphere of Eid al-Fitr 1446 H. The event occurred in front of the Rectorate Building on Tuesday (April 8, 2025). University leaders, lecturers, and administrative staff attended.
In his address, USU Rector Prof. Dr. Muryanto Amin, S.Sos., M.Si., called on the entire academic community to enhance collaboration, consolidation, and the spirit of internationalization as part of the university's ongoing transformation efforts.
He also emphasized the importance of adapting to global dynamics, particularly through developing international programs at the study program level. According to him, USU graduates must be globally competitive and recognized. "Internationalization is not just a tagline, but a commitment. We must support each other and accelerate the change process," he added.
The event concluded with a Halal Bihalal session, where all participants exchanged greetings and sought forgiveness in a warm and family-like atmosphere.
