As part of the monitoring and evaluation of the State University Revitalization Program (PR-PTN) for 2024 and the discussion of follow-up plans for 2025, the Directorate of Education Development at Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU) participated in a workshop held at Sutan Raja Hotel, Kolaka, Southeast Sulawesi. The event, conducted on December 16–17, 2024, was attended by the Director of the Directorate of Education Development at USU, the Manager of Educational Assessment and Development, representatives from USN Kolaka, and other resource persons. The workshop aimed to enhance understanding and formulate strategic steps related to key performance indicators (KPIs) for universities and to implement the Merdeka Belajar-Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) initiative.
The event was opened by Dr. H. Nur Ihsan HL., M.Hum., Rector of USN Kolaka, who emphasized the importance of synergy between universities to achieve KPI targets. The Directorate of Education Development at USU contributed by presenting strategies for improving university KPIs and sharing sessions on MBKM implementation. This was followed by monitoring and evaluating the 2024 PR-PTN program involving USU and USN Kolaka teams. The evaluation results will serve as the basis for formulating work plans for 2025, focusing on program sustainability and improvement.
The USU Director of Education Development expressed hope that the PR-PTN program would continue to create positive impacts on USU and the development of higher education in Indonesia. The event concluded with a shared commitment to implementing effective and sustainable follow-up programs.
